Commenting on the upcoming election of the district administrator in the Dahme-Spreewald district, Birgit Bessin, chairwoman of the AfD Brandenburg state association, said:
"Our district council candidate Steffen Kotré has exactly the right issues in mind: From the completely muddled situation surrounding 'refugee' accommodation to the wishes of the thousands of commuters to the district's own economic development, he knows exactly where the citizens' shoe pinches. With the corresponding tailwind of our current nationwide poll results, he has perfect prospects for the election on Sunday (08 October 2023).
The citizens learn anew every day that it is not the old parties that pull the cart out of the mud. Quite the opposite! They don't even try. Above all, the SPD has manoeuvred the country into a dead end and is now unable to act and no longer knows what to do.
It must be clear to every voter: With an AfD district councillor Steffen Kotré, the interests of their own citizens, which the old parties always put at the back of the queue, will once again move to the front of the agenda. What do our people need? How do we bring the district back to the forefront in the interests of its own citizens? Steffen Kotré and the AfD have the answers. The citizens deserve a district administrator who is committed only to them and not to the interests of the declining just-yet-governing SPD party. I especially ask all young and first-time voters to go to the polls and vote for the AfD candidate. Please do it right the first time you vote! Thank you very much."
