Birgit Bessin: "The CDU (Christian Democratic Union of Germany) can only lose"
Commenting on the recent statements by CDU leader Friedrich Merz, the chairperson of the AfD-Brandenburg, Birgit Bessin, said:
"I admit that the situation is certainly not easy for Friedrich Merz and his CDU - but it has been self-inflicted for years. It is hardly perceived as an opposition at the federal level, but as a member of the cartel of the old parties, it is held jointly responsible for all the left-green insanity that so burdens the citizens. But that is no wonder, since it has set the wheels in motion towards deindustrialisation and mass migration. And in Brandenburg, for example, it is actively involved in the attempted suppression of the AfD as the only remaining opposition via the CDU Minister of the Interior. The CDU can only lose.
No manoeuvre, no matter how transparent, of a possible cooperation at the municipal level, which was only offered and then withdrawn, will save it. Merkel's CDU has brought Germany unchecked and often illegal migration, which has been exacerbated by the Left and the Greens. The traffic lights are harassing people on energy prices, individual transport and heating. Moreover, with one unwise decision after another, it makes life in Germany almost unaffordable. Instead of attracting skilled workers, the skilled workers are driven abroad and their flats are thrown to illegal migrants. No citizen understands that!
It sounds platitudinous, but it's true: The old parties make the citizens sad, they rob the people of their courage to face life and their confidence in the future. For themselves and for their children, who sadly only a few still want to have.
Those who want a beautiful life worth living, carefree and just, vote AfD. We give confidence and stand by the side of the citizens. We don't bully, but want to make Germany a country again where people are happy to lend a hand because they know they are doing it for themselves and their family and friends. And whether or not Merz's CDU occasionally agrees to an AfD motion at the municipal level is completely irrelevant. The strongest party in and for Germany and Brandenburg is the AfD!
And we will do everything in our power to convince even more people of our strength, because we do not change our content because of upcoming elections and out of fear of becoming politically irrelevant. We love our homeland and, despite years of defamation and hostility, we show backbone and reliability in terms of content." (P.Hansen--BTZ)
