Pro-Russian demonstrations are a disgrace for democracy
Several pro-Russian rallies have been announced this weekend, for example in Hanover and Frankfurt. This is "hard to bear" for every democrat and every freedom-loving person, which is why Interior Minister Nancy Faeser is right to call on the police to intervene immediately in the event of the slightest violation of laws.
"Showing the 'Z' glorifies war crimes and can therefore, in our view, be prosecuted. Here we need consistent intervention by the police," said Faeser, with home affairs politicians from other parties expressing similar views.
"If there is a call for hatred and criminal offences are committed, the assembly must be dispersed," said Sebastian Hartmann, spokesperson on domestic policy for the SPD parliamentary group in the Bundestag. "What is also unacceptable is that the Russian invasion of Ukraine, where such terrible war crimes as happened in Butscha, is celebrated and glorified on our streets," Hartmann continues.
Since the beginning of the criminal Russian invasion of Ukraine at the end of February, a white "Z" can often be seen on Russian tanks and uniforms. It is often interpreted as "Za Pobedu" - "For Victory". Even outside the war zone, many people display it on cars and clothing as well as on social media in support of the war of aggression, this is punishable, wearing this sign is not only anti-social and inhumane, it also violates applicable laws as mentioned above, here under section 140 of the Criminal Code.
If one takes only the statutes of the Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal (20 November 1945 to 1 October 1946), which were:
1) Preparation and execution of a common plan (conspiracy) to commit crimes against peace, the law of war and humanity (basis: Article 6 especially 6a of the Statute).
2) Participation in the planning, preparation, unleashing and waging of wars of aggression in violation of international treaties, agreements and assurances (basis: Article 6a of the Statute).
3) War crimes (stricto sensu) were crimes against members of enemy forces and the civilian population of occupied territories (basis: Article 6, especially 6b of the Statute).
4) Crimes against humanity included the murder and persecution of opposition members and the murder, extermination, enslavement, deportation and other inhumane acts against civilian populations before or during the war (basis: Article 6, especially 6c of the Statute).
Thus, it is certain that the war criminals Vladimir Putin (Russian dictator), Army General Alexander Dvornikov commander of the Russian terrorist troops in Ukraine), Sergei Lavrov (Foreign Minister or better Propaganda Minister of Russia, Sergei Shoigu (War Minister of Russia), Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov (autocratic terror prince of Chechnya) and Valery Vasilyevich Gerasimov (chief of the general staff of the Russian terror army), even according to the statutes of the N urnberg War Crimes Tribunal advocated by the mass murderer and dictator Josef Stalin, for the crimes committed by them in Ukraine since 24. February 2022, they deserve only one punishment, death by hanging.
Against this background, any pro-Russian demonstration is actually forbidden and a disgrace for democracy in the Federal Republic of Germany. (O.Bulka--BTZ)
