Potsdam and the dance school of the world champions Serg and Katerina Diemke
It is the dance school of the great world champions Serg and Katerina Diemke. They are not only the owners of the highly professional and popular Diemke dance school in Potsdam's Sterncenter, they are also world champions in standard and Latin dancing among professionals. At the same time, they are both experienced dance teachers for ballroom dancing, trainers and adjudicators for dance sports.
Here you can see how brilliantly Serg and Katerina Diemke float across the dance floor:

So it was no coincidence that last weekend, on Saturday, 03 December 2022, the Christmas Tournament took place and was the venue for an excellently planned standard dance tournament. The Diemke dance school was filled to capacity and anyone who still believes that dancing is not a sport was proved wrong at this tournament, but that's how it is when you fight for the best places at competition level.
You can see a video of the big Christmas dance competition last weekend at the Diemke dance school here:

The Diemke dance school is one of the largest dance schools in Berlin and Brandenburg and, in addition to air conditioning, has the most modern sound and lighting technology as well as a dance floor laid out as a real wooden parquet floor, where dancing almost seems to happen by itself, if you feel like it or even want to lose weight.
So at the Diemke dance school, you can not only learn a sense of rhythm, body control and the right movements for your favourite dances, you can also practise for a social reception and everything up to and including a company or wedding party is possible in the extremely large premises of the dance school at the Sterncenter in Potsdam.
In an interview with BERLINER TAGESZEITUNG, Serg Diemke said: "Our dance studio in Potsdam has a family character. Children, young people and parents know each other, and often children or parents who are not dancing that day simply drop by for a coffee or a Coke. It doesn't matter whether you are a beginner, an advanced dancer or just the mother and father of a child who wants to be taught basic dance skills for life. The important thing is to have fun dancing!" (P.Hansen--BTZ)
